Prospective Delegators: Opening Wallet and Delegating to PLUS

So, you have chosen to partake in our decentralization adventure, and stake with us in Cardano. Our heartfelt thanks to you!

We have compiled these instructions so that you can take all the necessary steps to begin. Do not hesitate to contact us through the same channel that you've received this document.

1. Why a Wallet?

In order to obtain cryptocurrencies and interact with blockchains, you first need to have a blockchain wallet. Below is a summary of these wallets. Note that, in order to stake with our pool, you must obtain a Non-Custodial Cardano Wallet.

New Terms and Conditions may appear, withdrawals/transfers might be paused, etc. - So no guarantee to recover your funds in case the service provider shuts down, goes bankrupt, decides to defraud you, etc. - You do not directly interact with actual blockchains; therefore you cannot stake your Cardano ADA's.	- Purchasing cryptocurrencies with fiat money (credit cards, bank orders, ...) - Converting cryptocurrencies into fiat and sending them back to your bank accounts.
Non-Custodial Hot Wallet (in Cardano)	Yoroi, Eternl, Nami, ...	- You can use it as mobile apps, browser extensions - You have full control over your funds and you can stake your ADA - Some of them have good UX. - They are basically UI: you can "re-open" the same accounts in different wallets as long as you use the same pass phrase.	- Your public and private keys are stored together. If the computer / phone is compromised, so are your private keys! - Hot wallets are usually blockchain-specific: you may install an app for each blockchain you want to interact with. - If you lose your Recovery Phrase, you cannot recover your funds! - If someone else has your Recovery Phrase, they can do whatever they want with your funds!	- Use this wallet to interact with blockchain: staking, dApps, transfer, ...
Non-Custodial Cold Wallet (in Cardano)	- A piece of paper with your key phrases - Daedalus on your computer - Hardware Wallets such as Ledger and Trezor	- You have full control over your funds - Your private keys are disconnected from everything else, and don't get exposed. - Blockchain-generic and blockchain-specific wallets are possible.	- If you lose your pass-phrase, you cannot recover your funds! - If someone else has your passphrase, they can do whatever they want with your funds!	- Use this option to optimally secure your funds. - You can pair hardware wallets with hot wallet apps without exposing your private keys: e.g., Ledger Nano X + Eternl

2. Some App Wallets Compatible With Cardano (Non-Custodial Hot Wallet)

2022 has witnessed an increase in the variety of Cardano wallets. Below are just two examples.

3.1 Ledger

4. Example Setup with App-Only Wallet

4.1 Creating Your Account

Add Eternl plugin into your Chrome browser
Click on "Add Wallet"

Click on "Create Wallet", and then follow the instructions until you reach the phase

Carefully note down the 24-word passphrase into a paper**
You will be asked to re-verify some of the words to help you make sure that you have written your key phrases in correct order. After this step, hide your key phrase in a place that's only accessible to you.
That's it! You are ready to use your Eternl wallet.
Notes:
- Your payment password is different from your Recovery Phrase. Every time you perform a transaction, you will be asked to confirm the transaction by entering your payment password.
- You can reuse the Recovery Phrase to access the same wallet on your computer and your phone. As long as you use the same recovery phrase, you can reuse Eternl or any other Cardano-compatible app to view your wallet.
- You might set a different payment password to each other app you open with the same Recovery Phrase.

4.2 Transferring ADA to your wallet

4.2.1 Buying Alternative #1: From Cryptocurrency Exchanges

Buy ADA from your favorite Cryptocurrency Exchange platform, e.g. Bitrue, Crypto.com, SwissBorg, ... (Note: some platforms like Revolut DOES NOT allow you to transfer your funds outside your accounts. Ensure that you can withdraw cryptocurrencies from your platform).
In your Eternl wallet, click on "Receive" button click on it, then:
- Option 1: Click on the wallet address that appear on the screen. It will be copied to your clipboard, and you will need to paste this address in the withdrawal screen on your Exchange account
- Option 2: Click on "Share Address", which will give you a QR code - you can scan it in the Exchange App of your choice
Specify the amount you want to transfer, and off you go!

4.2.2 Buying Alternative #2: From Integrated Payment Options

As an alternative, some of the wallets may have integrated "Buy ADA" option with some preferred partners. For instance, Eternl integrates Guardarian. In such a case, you can follow the instructions, make the payment, and have the ADA directly delivered to your app wallet.

4.3 Staking to Our Pool

In your wallet app, go to the "Staking" menu, search for the pool with the name "Plusless". In its metadata, you should find the link to our website: https://plusless.love/plusless-cardano-stake-pool/

In case you aren't sure that you have found the pool, don't hesitate to contact your friendly Stake Pool Operator 🙂

Click on "Delegate" - since this operation requires you to make a modification in the blockchain itself, you will need to pay a transaction fee to complete this.
That's it! From now on, your rewards will be automatically calculated with a compound interest.

5. Example Setup with Hardware Wallet

5.1 Creating Your Account

Obtain Ledger Nano X.
Follow the setup videos that Ledger will send to you.
Follow the instructions on "Connect Your Ledger Cardano (ADA) Account to Eternl"

5.2 Transferring ADA to your wallet

You can either use a cryptocurrency exchange (same as in app-only wallet), or use the buy/sell capabilities of the companion app of your hardware wallet.

5.3 Staking to Our Pool

You will need a Cardano-compatible wallet app like Eternl to complete your staking - see the instructions above.

6. When to Expect Rewards

You do not need to take additional actions if you decide to top up or send away your ADA.
Your rewards will arrive with delay - see the useful chart below.
When our pool reaches to sustainable amounts of delegation (a total of 2-4 Million ADAs), you will be able to receive rewards every 5 days.
